Wifi Router Modem Internet LED Is RED - Check For Solution

If you find your netgear Wifi router Internet LED is turned red, then perhaps you would have never allowed connecting to internet.
This caused most probably due to wrong Login Credentials
Check the following router settings:
Be sure with the two settings of your wifi router modem.
  • Basic Settings
  • ADSL Settinegs

Follow the steps below:
  1. Login Into www.routerlogin.net or http://192.168.0.1/ Into web browsers
  2. Enter Admin as Username and Password as Password.
  3. It will automatically check for firm version for a while, switch to basic settings on the left pane of the window.
  4. Enter the Login Credentials as below picture representations.
  5. Get your user login and password credentials from your ISP before making changes.


Replace the login and password from the above image to the one given to you by your ISP[Internet Service Provider]. Note: The above settings will apply only if you are using broadband through [Ethernet Cable].

Click Apply.

Then Click ADSL Setting On the Left Pane.
and Set the settings Like the Below Image.


And once you have changed all the values as the above image, Click Apply.

And turn off your adapter and then turn it on once again, now check your router Internet LED It Will Be Turned Green From Red.

If Not Try RESTARTING Your system and then check, It will be working, You will find your router internet LED now turned green.
