How To Enable/Disable the Ethernet Network Adapter

Its an simple task, but most often every people face this, and look it at like an problem, if your'e new to LAN connection most probably you will be having this problem while connecting to internet.

You find that your Adapter device with your modem/router is turned on and working fine, but still when you run troubleshoot it will prompt that. "ENABLE YOUR NETWORK ADAPTER".

To enable or disable your Ethernet Adapter Device.
  1. Go to Start->control panel->network & internet
  2. Click Network & Sharing->Left side you can find "change adapter setting" Click that as well..
  3. After Clicking you can find a list of connection that you have made, such as broadband, wifi, mobiles etc..

Click Local Area Connection:
To Enable:

  • Click "Enable This Network Device" Option Above On The Bar..

To Disable

  • Click "Disable This Network Device" Option Above On The Bar..
